THE SUMMONING is on sale now!

The Summoning

My paranormal erotic romance novella, THE SUMMONING, is again available for sale!

If you’ve previously purchased this THE SUMMONING, please note that although the book has brand new cover art and a fresh round of edits and has been (slightly) revised, it is still essentially the same story, so it is not necessary for you to also buy this new edition.

Do note that there is some extra content related to THE SUMMONING that I hadn’t previously shared before that is now available here on this website under Extras. Check it out if you’d like to take a peek at the behind the scenes content!

Haven’t read it yet? You can buy it now from apologize for any confusion with the release date for this – I’d originally announced Feb. 24 as the date, but saw opportunity for additional improvements to the book’s content that I wanted to ensure was complete before going live).

Everything comes with a price …

Gailyn Bridges is a psychic who is ready to end her troublesome career as a private investigator. For the last time, she summons a powerful spirit to help her close a final case.

However, the mysterious entity who answers, Malak, is no ordinary spirit. He’s more than willing to help Gailyn save the would-be victim of a violent crime.

But who’s going to save Gailyn when Malak returns to collect payment for lending her his power?

NOTE: This book was formerly published by Liquid Silver Books under the same title.

New Covers for Upcoming Re-releases

My next two upcoming re-releases have brand spanking new (and lovely, I must say) covers from The Digital Hook! [Click the images to seem them full-sized.]

THE SUMMONING will be available for sale again at the beginning of April 2015, and WAY OUT OF CONTROL is scheduled to for re-release in early May 2015. In addition to new covers, both books will have some slight revisions made to them, and they will each get an Extras page here on the website with behind-the-scenes content and information relating to the story (like extras on a movie’s DVD).

In addition to preparing these stories for re-release, I have two brand new titles that I anticipate being completed next quarter. You can always find out what I’m currently working on by visiting my Coming Soon page (recently updated).

Coming Soon: Re-releases!

My rigComputer On Desk With White Copyspacehts have been returned to me on my first three books:

  • Say My Name
  • The Summoning
  • Way Out of Control

This is exciting because I will now have full control of these stories!

I’m in the process now of making some small changes that I’ve been wanting to do on them for years, as well as create brand new covers for each book. It will be a few weeks before they are ready to re-release, which means that there may be a brief period of time that they will be unavailable for sale as my former publisher takes them down from all current vendor sites.

So please note that if you are looking to buy one of these books right now and they are unavailable, this is only temporary. The new versions will be up for sale over the next several weeks.

Say My Name will be re-released later this month (December 2014), while  The Summoning and Way Out of Control will be re-released in January 2015. You can check back here for announcements of the exact re-release dates.

I Am Author, Hear Me Read!

Earlier this year, I recorded myself reading a couple of pages from two of my novellas for a audiobook contest. I didn’t win the contest, but I learned a ton about narration, doing voice recording and the challenge of getting quality audio recorded, plus I had a lot of fun in the process. So much fun in fact, that I just may consider creating audiobooks for all of my work on my own at some point. After I get in some more practice, of course.

That is, unless folks really don’t think I have the voice for it and highly recommend I get a professional. 🙂 Take a listen, and please let me know what you think!

THE SUMMONING Nominated for Best Erotic PNR Of the Year

I’m happy to share the news that my novella THE SUMMONING is up for an award!

It’s been nominated at The Romance Reviews for Best Erotic Paranormal Romance – Angel and Demon (2011).

This is my very first award nomination, and so I’m feeling quite excited. And a bit nervous – I’m still very new to all of this, and I’m up there with some fabulous authors. 🙂

One winner in each category will be selected based on the number of votes. Voting is open now, and closes on Wednesday, November 30, 2010. Results will be announced on December 1. If you like, you can vote for THE SUMMONING here.

Thank you so much your support in helping me get here! **smooches**

The Romance Review

Tati’s Weekly Checkup: 06.28.11

The Good:

  • A new review for THE SUMMONING has been posted at The Romance Studio. Yay, I like it when people read my
Boy with Great-GrandmaR work and share their thoughts on it. 😀
  • We went up to Michigan this weekend to visit my husband’s relatives, something we don’t do often enough. It was great to have the kids spend time and bond with the family. I was quite pleased to see my grandmother-in-law up and about, looking happy and healthy, as well as able to chase after my little boys!

The Bad:

  • My father-in-law’s cancer returned. Fortunately, the doctors believe they removed most of the tumor during the surgery last week, and  he is recovering quite well.  Still, it’ scary, worrisome, expensive and draining. Hopefully the cancer stays gone this time …

The Unnerving:

The 6-year-old is trying to understand procreation. LOTS of questions from him recently about babies, pregnancies and gender.

  1. “Does a man and a woman have to be married in order to make a baby?”
  2. “How does a cat get kittens? Do cats get married?”
  3. “If two ladies get married, can they make a baby?”
  4. “How does a baby get out of the mommy’s belly? Does it break through her belly like a baby chicken breaks through the egg shell, and then the doctor glues her belly back together?”

*sighs* As if I didn’t have enough grey hairs already.

The Cool:

My husband and I are taking customers for our website and design services again. We had an especially fun time working with our latest client on her blog/website. Danielle Monsch and her husband were a pleasure to work with, and we are delighted with how the site turned out:

If you or someone you know are looking for an affordable and uniquely customized website or WordPress design, just let me know.

The Work In Progress:

The hubby and I are working to create a new look for our web design site and to slightly alter the layout of this one (I’m beginning to have enough of all the white text on black background, and want to change that up a bit). Both designs are still very much under construction, but hopefully at least one will be done in a week or so.

The revisions and major edits for WAY OUT OF CONTROL have been completed. Now the book just has to go through final line edits and then it’ll get a release date. I suspect it’ll be released by the end of July / early August, so I’ll have to start preparing for promotion soon (plus I have a contest or 2 in mind, so stay tuned! ).

As to the other works in progress I have, I’m going back and forth between three of them. I’ve really been an Indecisive Daisy lately, with my ideas and attention-span wavering all over the place. I’ve decided to quit fighting it for a while and just go wherever my creative juices float me to on a daily basis. Eventually, something will prevail and get done, right?

Tati’s Weekly Checkup: 06.13.11

The Good:

  • THE SUMMONING is now available on So if you’ve been waiting for the book to come out in Kindle format, the wait is over!
  • I accomplished some writing-related (see “Work In Progress”) that didn’t feel crappy. First time in many weeks.
  • I haven’t had any chest pains at all in almost a full week now. All in all, I think I’m finally on the road to recovery. *glee*

The Bad:

  • Realized that I have to be very careful when playing word games. I can easily get sucked into Scrabble on Facebook or Words With Friends on my android. *sighs* Unfortunately I think I’m going to have to slowly ween myself from them. Again. Unless I can keep it under control, but we’ll see. You hear that, friends? No more having 3, 4 and 5 games going with me at once!!

The Cool:

  • We’ve forgone cable television for 2 weeks now. The husband and I haven’t missed it a bit – we were pretty much gamers and Netflixers anyway. Not even the children have complained about the lack in cable channels, and actually seem to prefer being able to just look at whatever they want through Hulu, Netflix and Youtube on our Smart TV.

The Work In Progress:

I’m just about finished with the first round of revisions for WAY OUT OF CONTROL suggested by my editor. I’ve sent it to my critique partner and as soon as I get her feedback on the more extensive changes I’ve made, I’ll send it back to the editor.

Now I’ll have the time and the energy to focus again on one of the many unfinished manuscripts I have in the works. Let’s see, which one should it be? The human/alien romance one? The paranormal one? The one set in space? Or the (yet another) new idea I’ve been brewing? We shall see! Hopefully soon. 🙂

Tati’s Weekly Checkup: 04.11.11

The Good:

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my time off the week before last. Seriously – I feel like someone hit my reboot button. Highlights included visiting a museum, taking the kids to an indoor amusement park, spending time with visiting family and friends, and getting a lot of relaxation in.
  • Watched the first 3 seasons of Bones – cool show! Makes we wonder what else I’m missing due to my lack of TV surfing. But thanks to Netflix, and DVDs, I’ll eventually get to check out all the good ones at my own time and pace. Scheduled TV is for suckers.

The Bad:

  • Came back to work with a shipload of stuff to do and a few fires to put out. (But that’s not too bad – I much prefer work to be hella busy than hella boring)
  • Watching my younger brother suffer with trying to find a job. It’s still rough out there and the competition can be fierce – I wish him luck in finding something soon, as he has several young children to take care of.

The Cool:

The Work In Progress:

I’ve tentatively titled the novella I’m currently working on HEATED EXCHANGE, and it is a paranormal romance which tackles the battle of the sexes in a magical, funny, sensual way.

So far I’m finding it a great outlet to express my thoughts on the problems with relationships between men and women while being entertaining (instead of complaining or preaching).

This story has some elements that make it a little more challenging (and interesting!) to write than anything I’ve tackled before,  but I don’t want to give away more details just yet. So stay tuned for more info!

Cover Art for THE SUMMONING Completed!

It’s been a hectic couple of weeks for me, and it doesn’t look as if things are going to let up until well after Christmas. But that’s a good thing – it means I have a full, exciting life, right? Right?! * desperately awaits your agreement*

I do have something pretty cool to share, though.  The cover art for my upcoming book, THE SUMMONING. It was done by the talented April Martinez.

I’m quite pleased with it. 😀

More information soon to come!
