2014 In Review & SAY MY NAME Re-release

** POST UPDATED to correct release date that was one week off **

I can’t believe February is already halfway over – to me it still feels like the new year just started last week! I had such an action-packed 2014. Here’s just some of the things I had going on last year:

  • Quit my job of 15+ years
  • Started a new job in a new role (Microsoft Consultant)
  • Built an entertainment area in our basement (and furnished and decorated it in time for my husband’s big birthday bash)
  • Released the second book in my werecat / shifter series, CAT ON THE FENCE
  • Completed 3 certification exams and obtained 2 certifications for work

I STILL feel as if I’m reeling from it all. My new job is great, but the learning curve was high and of course as the new girl I’ve had to do some major proving of myself to my new boss and colleagues, and as a result I’ve been busier than I’ve ever been in my life.

Unfortunately however, because of all the working and studying I did, especially around the holidays last year, however, I also gained 25 lbs in 2014, whomp whomp whomp! So this year I’ve been focusing heavily on my health. I’m happy to say that I’ve been able to completely incorporate a full exercise regime into my daily routine, and I’ve lost 12 pounds since January 1st already! The year is already off to a good start!

Now that I’ve settled in with the new job and the new exercise regime, it’s time to bring back some much needed focus on my books. In my post in December, I mentioned that I’d received the rights back for my first three novellas, and will be republishing. The first book will be back on sale on March 02, 2015. My husband, who is the founder of The Digital Hook, did the cover art for this version of the book. I present to you the new cover art for SAY MY NAME:

THE SUMMONING will go back up for sale with a new cover and a slight revision in March, and WAY OUT OF CONTROL will be ready to go in April. I have some other projects in progress that I will talk about more in the coming months, but you can also get a sneak peak at some of the things I’m currently working on by visiting my Coming Soon page.

I hope you’re having a great new year so far. I look forward to another year of action with plenty of re-released (and completely new ones) in 2015!
