** Original Publisher and Artwork **
My story SAY MY NAME was first published by Liquid Silver Books on August 9, 2010. At the end of 2014 my rights were released back to me, and I had it re-published under Verbal Vixen on March 3, 2015.
Here’s the original cover for SAY MY NAME as it was published by Liquid Silver Books. The artwork for the original cover was done by the very talented Christine Griffin.
** Inspirational Artwork **
Here’s the artwork my husband and founder of The Digital Hook created for me while I was first plotting out the story. His artwork always inspires me, and it was also the inspiration for the original artwork, so I thought I’d share it!

** Related Facts & Trivia **
- The original Rumpelstiltskin fairy tale was written by the Brothers Grimm around 1812. You can read one version of their story here.
- This folk tale has been retold in Germany, England, Sweden, and Netherlands with numerous variations.
- Rumpelstiltskin is the star creature’s original name, but he is also known as Tom Tit Tot in England. This is where I got the name that the goblin refers to himself as in SAY MY NAME.
- Rumpelstilzchen in German means “little rattle stilt”. The meaning is similar to rumpelgeist or “rattle ghost” (or poltergeist).
