I got a phone call from the publisher I sent my novel too! *shivers with excitement*
Since I had sent my first version of Greener Grass to my potential publisher over 3 years earlier, they’d lost my original query information, including my synopsis, by now. To my delight they seem to be interested enough still to request that I resend my synopsis, even though they already had my manuscript in hand. This gave me the chance to do some research and write a new synopsis TEN TIMES better than the previous synopsis I’d written years ago. This is one site that helped me a lot, and I found actual synopsis examples on author Charlotte Dillon’s website in the “for writers” section.
I created and mailed to them my new synopsis within a day and a half of that phone call. *crosses fingers and hopes real hard*
